NAKA Entertainment AKA NAKA International

Six dancers from NAKA Entertainment accompanied Rev. Tom from the Monumental Ministries Church and other members of the House of David Program to Canada to perform for supporters of the Pastors for Peace Humanitarian mission.
The dancers on the trip were Jamese Weaver, Jade Simmons, Briana Green, Tony Williamson, LJ Duncan and Roland Lott. James Weaver and Keni Jefferson from NAKA Entertainment also accompanied the dancers on the trip to serve as shapparones and supporters. Also in attendance was Kevin, Ms. Mattie, and Mr. Amir also from the House of David Program.
They danced in two different cities in Ontario, Ottawa and Kingston. In addition to the performances, the dancers also visited a historic underground railroad site and the beautiful Niagara Falls and painted a bus that was bound for Cuba to deliver humanitarian aid to an area that has been devistated by hurricanes.
We met some beautiful people along the way and had some amazing people open their homes to us. We appreciate everyone and especially thank The House of David Program for allowing us to be a part of this experience.

WAMO Hasn't Paid the 106 & Pittsburgh Winners

As I posted in my events, NAKA Entertainment competed in the WAMO 106 & Pittsburgh Step and Dance Competition on April 3, 2009. They were announced the winners and the prize, according to WAMO, was to be $1000, and six tickets to 106 and Park in New York. (see link http://www.wamo.com/pages/pages.php?page=69)
Since Monday, April 6, I have been unsuccessful in collecting the winnings from the station, but very successful in being jerked around.
I have sent emails, made phone calls, and went in person on Monday, April 20, to the station to collect a "Prize Packet" that was supposed to have been left there for me by Jamal Woodson on Friday, April 17.
After waiting for over 35 minutes, the receptionist informed me that Mr. Woodson, who I had seen running around the building, but did not acknowledge me at all, did not in fact have the prize packet ready and that he would be in contact.
Needless to say, I have not received the prize, nor have I heard from anyone at WAMO regarding the winnings for the group.
I'll keep you posted as to how this story ends.
